Gally Day 1 and 2

Day 1:  Gally Costume Knee Pads.

I cut out the shape of the knee pads and glued velcro straps.

Day 2: Painting
Today I went outside to paint the pads silver.

Using Fabric markers, I added the details to the knee pads AND the turtleneck.

I found some gloves at the Party Supply store that look like robot hands (Transformers!) So that worked out pretty good.

Some lessons learned: Fabric markers aren't really all that great and they love to LEAK and linger..

Work has been all consuming of my time and a drain on my creativity. I still get bursts of creative energy from time to time. Getting Ready for 2012

Oh 2012, what new exciting things can I hope for in this year. Here's what's going down now. 1) Corvidology is working on a fashion app. 2) I'm still chipping away at my VN Line of Heroes. With only minor updates since the last one. 3) I'm also working on a few Dating Sims. I've finished scripting one. I'm so proud of me for figuring it out. 4) 7 Eldest is in book 2. I still don't give it all the love and attention it deserves. 5) Also kind of looking for a new job. ^^

August Begins

A new month. And ever closer creeps my personal deadlines for these costumes. October was the goal for the Warden and Tali. However, since I've taken on another project for Halloween, I'm scooting Warden and Tali out to November. And Alistair...the poor chap...hasn't had any construction done what so ever. :( I have all supplies too. Anyway, I've made a bit of progress on each costume here and there. Tali: I took the shoes out of the feet and got inserts to put in there instead. Warden: Put more studs into the Jacket. Wolf Queen: Made the Circlet, got the beads for the necklace, made some ears and started on the tail. Got some knee high nylons to make the feet. I've also had quite a few interviews the past couple weeks. I hope to start a new job soon. *pleeeease, better pay, better environment* Anyway, I've also been going to D&D sessions on the weekends. ...I'm learning how bad I am at improv. LOL. I hope to finish the Wolf Tail this week ...
